Clixmotion Technology Clixmotion is the principle of dual-guided lancet motion, meaning that both the forward and the return motion of the lancet is precisely controlled, without vibrations and oscillations. This special motion is the key to gentle blood sampling.The lancet penetrates the skin with an extremely fast linear motion avoiding all lateral movement and preventing unnecessary skin damage.Clixmotion ensures controlled movement. In the skin the lancet is brought to a gentle stop, referred to as a Soft Stop, and then actively retracted immediately in a linear motion. Without Clixmotion technology, the lancet may penetrate through to the nerve ending and vibrations can cause tissue damage. This results in painful blood testing.
